Leadership - Part One
Perhaps at no other time in recorded history has the function of Leadership been more needed. Today we hear it referred to with labels like, 'personal coaching or mentoring,' but the theme remains the same. Years ago the title of 'manager' fit this theme which suggested a 'hands on director' rather than the gentler inspiring image of a 'model' actually 'walking the talk' who one may chose to emulate.
Why is this counselor so important today? The reason lies in the shift from a 'how to' consciousness to a 'what' consciousness. 'How to' suggests 'ways and means' to accomplish while 'what' asks questions regarding our true needs, our inner directed urges to express ourselves.
But don't we need both? Don't we need to know what we want to create and how to do it? Yes and no! The historical focus on ways and means has tended toward deciding what we can create by whether or not there are ways and means to accomplish it.
With the growing understanding about the power of 'the law of attraction' that lies waiting for our instructions to swing into action, the 'how to' of what we want is beginning to take a back seat where it belongs.
If we really believe that 'the universe conspires' to bring the people, places, things and circumstances into our life to fill the mold of our desires, then we are able to accept the almost amazing truth that everything can be, that anything is possible. It is with this shift that helps us thinking beyond limitations.
Personal coaches or mentors have taken up the 'role model' leadership role of aiding people to make this shift from limited ways and means thinkers to unbounded creators. Its a deeply fulfilling role since, as the saying goes, "the teacher is the best student."

Rev. E. Anderson TURNING DEFEAT INTO DIVIDENDS Taken from John Maxwell Leadership Bible Jeremiah 20: 1-18 Every leader experiences good and bad days. Even Gods greatest leaders become discouraged. Jeremiah 20 allows us to see into the heart of a great leader. Jeremiah complains to God in the first ten verses. He praises God for his victories in the next four verses. And in the next five verses he curses the day he was born. The key question on your bad day is: Are you
